Dr. Olawale Afolabi

Olawale is a Doctor of Philosophy (Agricultural Economics) – Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria.

He has spent over nine years in design and implementation of development programmes, project management, trainings and workshop, research and consultancy in socio-economic studies, value chain analysis, incentivizing climate-smart practices, rural livelihoods, market access and participation among farming households in Nigeria. In the course of his career, he has provided advisory functions in financial literacy and financial inclusion at the Financial Inclusion Steering Committee of the Central Bank of Nigeria.

Dr. Olawale has been engaged either as a team member or lead on different projects by Prop-com Mai-karfi, Catholic Relief Services, FADAMA, Agricultural Research Council of Nigeria, DFID, Lagos State Government etc.
